Treffpunkt
The Bavarian celebration of Oktoberfest is traditionally held in Germany in September and October. In Pilsen, however, you won’t have to wait quite so long to enjoy Bavarian culture, and that’s thanks to February’s Treffpunkt festival. Once again, the DEPO2015 cultural centre will come alive with celebrations of our Czech-Bavarian friendship. Here you can take a seat in one of the traditional Bavarian beer gardens and listen to the diverse bands. Plus, you can partake in traditional Bavarian specialties, such as the mixed beer cheese of “Obatzda” or a Weißwurst and a pretzel.
