Festival of light BLIK BLIK MINI
The BLIK BLIK light festival already has its own permanent spot in Pilsen’s calendar of cultural events. Due to the challenging pandemic situation, the festival was cancelled in March. Despite this, the organisers set out to please the locals and tourists alike by holding at least part of the festival in the former transportation hub garages, today’s DEPO2015 creativity zone. The festival BLIK BLIK MINI will be held from the 16th-17th of November.
Eight light installations and payinf tribute to the Velvet Revolution
Both inside and outside DEPO2015, you’ll discover 8 light and digital installations joined by various workshops and a further accompanying programme. You can look forward to 3D projection mapping, an original screening that can be seen with the help of 3D glasses.
This November, the festival of lights will be thematically linked with the important state holiday, i.e., the 17th of November, when all of the Czech Republic will recall the 32 years since the end of communism, and with the help of the installations, visitors will be taken back to the year 1989.
During the festival, you can get something to eat at the gastro-zone, where you’ll find a selection of traditional Czech fast food as well as sausages cooked over a fire.
