Railway Weekend in Stary Plzenec
The first instalment of Railway Weekend in Stary Plzenec invites you to visit on Saturday and Sunday, from 10-17h. A rich programme has been prepared, guaranteed to entertain both young and old. You can look forward to seeing the narrow-track mining locomotives in operation as well as train rides on the park railway, the Garden Railway, yard models, Lego model trains, and a special automobile, the PRAGA V3S. You can also embark on commented tours of the mining railway, which are always held at 11h, 13h, and 15h. On Saturday, you’ll get to see the exhibition of historical vehicles at the railway station in Starý Plzenec as well as handmade, historical attires. And a historical Karosa bus will make trips from the Stary Plzenec Railway to the Railway Station for only 20 CZK.
