TUTO jídlo – festival of Pilsen gastronomy
Pilsen and gastronomy have always been close. In 1842, when Josef Groll made the first batch of Pilsner beer, his mind surely jumped to what kind of food he could pair with this new wet beverage. And that’s exactly how things are today. Visitors can see this for themselves at the festival of Pilsen Gastronomy, TUTO jídlo, which is held at the Pilsen embankment on the first weekend in September. Local businesses present the best of Czech and foreign cuisine at the festival. You can especially look forward to the juicy burgers, creamy soups, sweet treats, select coffee, honest beer, and other goodies.
