Some of Pilsen Zoo’s biggest stars include giraffes, rhinos, lions, tigers, bears, penguins, flamingos, kangaroos, zebras, and crocodiles. However, some guests are more excited to see the everyday farm animals at the Lüftner Farmstead (statek Lüftnerka). You’re not going to want to miss out on the newest expositions; the Underground World (Svět v podzemí) and the Kingdom of Poison (Království jedu), where you will see the most poisonous snakes in the world. As part of the zoo, there is also a botanical garden with a Japanese meditation garden.
The DinoPark next door
It’s up to you how long you would like to stay at the zoo. You could easily spend the entire day here, but you can also combine your trip to the Pilsen Zoo with an adventurous journey into prehistoric times. The neighbouring DinoPark boasts giant moving models of prehistoric dinosaurs that can even make noise. You can visit this section of the zoo at a discount price by combining your ticket to the DinoPark with your zoo ticket at the ticket office.
