Festival Náplavka k světu
Once more this year, the multi-genre festival “Náplavka k světu” is returning to the Štruncovy sady park near the confluence of the Mže and Radbuza Rivers. You can look forward to creative workshops, open-air yoga, Monday evenings accompanied by DJ Garlic, a dancefloor, and plenty of fun concerts. An interesting new addition this year, and potentially the most popular attraction, is the mobile sauna, designed and built by the “k světu” studio. And, of course, you can expect pleasant places to sit and order some food from the bar, which will remain here all summer long.
Our picks from the programme:
During the very first weekend, on Saturday, May 27, you can enjoy an evening with acoustic versions of famous hits by the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and Rolling Stones performed by KB Akustic Band.
On Wednesday, May 31, rapper Vladimir 518 and the band BTnJ from Klatovy will make their return after last year’s success.
On Friday, June 2, you can listen to music from carefully tuned glass bottles played by Flaškinet, and also look forward to the band Queens of Bohemia, which pays tribute to the songs of the legendary band Queen.
On Saturday, June 3, kids can enjoy children’s day at the rivers’ confluence, with a following concert by the band Hibaj.
On Thursday, June 8, the female vocal ensemble Tutti Voci will perform with the mixed ensemble Pilsen Voice.
On Friday, June 9th, you’ll savour the beloved musical tunes from world-renowned shows performed by soloists of the Musical of the J. K. Tyl Theatre, Charlotte Režná and Pavel Režný.
On Saturday, June 17, the festival ends with a goodbye party featuring Chut’ and the band POPs.
