Public ice-skating rink
Ice skating is a close second to skiing as the most popular winter sport. You can enjoy ice skating in the crisp winter air starting in December at the outdoor rink at the Škoda Sports Park in Pilsen’s Slovany neighbourhood. Aside from the ice rink, food and drink stands as well as an ice-skate sharpening station will also be prepared for visitors. If you don’t have ice skates, don’t worry – you can rent them here as well as ice skating trainers for younger skaters. The admission fee is 50 CZK, however, children shorter than 120 cm can skate for free. You can also look forward to events held on the ice.
