Open Air musical – Dracula
Every year, a grandiose conclusion of the theatre season by the J. K. Tyl Theatre is held in Pilsen’s open-air amphitheatre. Aside from the traditional Night of Opera, this year you can also look forward to a second performance under the stars, namely an open-air performance of the musical Dracula. The J. K. Tyl Theatre will offer its audience this new and original production, shown for the first time ever outside of Prague as part of The Year of Czech Music. You can expect to hear hits such as “Jsi můj pán” and “Vím, že jsi se mnou” performed by Pilsen’s musical stars. In the almost thirty years since its inception, the original Czech musical Dracula, loosely inspired by Bram Stoker’s famous novel, has been seen by hundreds of thousands of viewers both here and abroad.
